The Katie Project

The 70 square kilometre Katie Project is located in central Newfoundland and hosts mineralization reminiscent of high-grade Zn-Pb-Cu-Au-Ag stockwork veins in a VMS feeder zone. Modest trenching of the property in 2015 by Altius Miinerals exposed base metal mineralization in quartz-sulphide veins with silica-sericite ± chlorite-fuchsite alteration over 1.4 square km.

Highlights include grab samples from floats of up to 23.9% Zn, 3.3% Pb and 279 g/t Ag and up to 15.1% Zn, 0.45% Pb, 0.27% Cu, 42 g/t Ag and 2.4 g/t Au from newly trenched outcrops.
